Date: On Tuesday, October 14th, 2025Thank you for your email.In cases where parents are divorced, separated or never married, the College requires that both parents complete a CSS Profile in order to determine a family’s full financial strength and potential ability to pay for higher education. As an institution that meets the full demonstrated need of each family with Holy Cross funding, this ensures that we treat each family fairly and equitably. In order to be considered for need-based institutional financial aid, we ask for both parents to complete the CSS Profile and submit tax documentation for review.
If you have no contact with the other parent, you can complete the attached Non-Custodial Parent Waiver Request form. Please upload the completed and signed form to your IDOC portal. We also require a letter from a third party who can speak to your situation.
Once both items are received, the waiver request will be reviewed by the Waiver Committee and you will be notified by email of their decision.
