If the whereabouts of your noncustodial parent are unknown, or if you have extenuating circumstances regarding your situation, complete the Noncustodial Parent Waiver Petition, which can be found on the following link:

Your Noncustodial Waiver Petition and third party documentation will be reviewed, and a determination will be made as to whether Cornell will be able to waive the need for your noncustodial parent information.
Please note, refusal of your noncustodial parent to provide information or financial support does not constitute a waiver.
When a Noncustodial Parent CSS Profile Waiver request is approved, custodial parent or custodial household (in the case of remarriage) income and asset information is used to determine eligibility for aid.
