To be considered for institutional aid, Boston College requires financial information from both biological parents.However, if you have a special circumstance, you may submit a petition to waive the Non-Custodial Parent information. To request a Non-Custodial Parent Waiver, please follow the steps below:
Complete the Non-Custodial Parent Waiver Petition Form.
Submit two letters explaining the reason for your request:
One letter should be written by either the applicant or the custodial parent.
The second letter must be written by a third party who is not related to the family (please refer to the form’s instructions for details).

The completed petition will be reviewed by a financial aid committee to determine whether it will be approved.
